WHICH PHOTOGRAPHER WILL PHOTOGRAPH MY WEDDING?  

It's simple... the photographer that you choose (and yes, this will be specified on your contact).  

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN EACH PHOTOGRAPHER?

We all photograph in the same style and we all share the same approach to shooting weddings.  However since art is such a personal expression, naturally we do not all shoot identically.  Additionally our photographers have varying amounts of experience shooting in our Modern Romance style, and of course we each have a unique personality. We encourage you to look closely at each photographers' section of our website to determine which photographer is right for you.

WILL THERE BE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER AT MY WEDDING? 

Yes, we bring a Second Photographer to every wedding (with the exception of when special arrangements are made for very small weddings).  Additionally we also bring an Assistant, which makes each crew a team of three.  We don’t waste our Second Photographer’s time and talent on things like holding lights or carrying bags.  We bring an Assistant for those things, which allows the Second Photographer to capture more images.

In addition to your artistic style, do you also take traditional/formal family photos? 

Of course we do.  We understand that your family is very important to you.  We don’t show many traditional/formal family photos on our website or blog, but we absolutely do take them at each wedding. 

I live out of town.  Will that make it more difficult to have a quality experience?

Whether you live down the street or across the country, for your convenience our contracts, payments, product ordering, and album layout viewing procedures are all set up to be done online.  If you choose to book us prior to meeting with us in person (which happens often), we would LOVE to meet with you the next time you’re in town!

HAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED AT MY VENUE BEFORE? 

Since we have been in business for 11 years, it is likely that at least one of our photographers has photographed at your venue before.  However a good photographer is able to adapt to any situation, and therefore it really does not matter if it is a new venue.  Our photographers are trained and equipped to shoot in a wide variety of situations and locations.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE AND BACKUP GEAR?

Yes, we have a $1 million dollar liability insurance policy, and we are happy to provide a copy of that to your venue if needed.  Just let us know. And yes, we bring numerous cameras and lenses.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PHOTOGRAPHER GETS SICK OR INJURED BEFORE MY WEDDING? 

For many years we were able to honestly say that not one of our photographers had ever been unable to shoot the wedding they were scheduled to shoot.  However, last year one of our Lead Photographers suddenly suffered from a very painful kidney issue, and since she could barely walk it was clear that she was physically unable to shoot an upcoming wedding.  We immediately let the bride know of the situation and that would be sending one of our other Lead Photographers, one that was a Tier higher and more expensive, but of course with no cost to the bride. The bride thanked us for handling it properly and was absolutely thrilled with the substitute photographer as well as the wedding photos she received.  Emergencies can happen, and the fact that we are a larger studio with multiple photographers means that we likely have someone available who can seamlessly fill in and shoot in the same style.  It is never our plan to send a different photographer than the one who is contracted, but it is a HUGE benefit that we do have a solid backup plan should something terrible happen.

I’m having a religious ceremony.  Are you familiar with the events that will take place?

We have had the privilege of photographing many types of ceremonies, including but not limited to Catholic, Christian, Jewish, Chinese, Hindu, Greek Orthodox, and Coptic.  If we have not photographed your particular type of ceremony, we would love to learn about its events and then use our talents to capture it beautifully.

How long will it take to receive my wedding photos?

Your complete online gallery will be ready to view within six weeks of your wedding date.  Prior to that you will receive sneak peeks along the way.

DO YOU SHOOT FILM OR DIGITAL?

We are an all digital studio.  Since Kristen Taylor was originally trained in film, first shot weddings on film, and then transitioned to digital as it began to take over, she has the breadth of experience to proclaim that the quality of digital is equal to that of film..  Additionally, digital allows for more flexibility for the quickly changing lighting conditions of a wedding day.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we feel that any studio that has its clients’ convenience in mind should accept credit cards, and we have an easy online payment system.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express (as well as checks).

We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy. You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. SECURITY POLICY:  We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

Shipping rates, methods, and timeframes vary for each product.  Shipping costs for online gallery cards and usb drives are already included in your photography package.  Upon shipping these items, we will email you with your tracking information so you may track the package and know when you expect it to arrive to you.  For any additional shipping fees incurred if you choose to have any other products shipped rather than picked up at our studio, we will invoice you for that amount prior to shipping your product, and again we will provide the tracking information to you once it has shipped.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Given the personalized nature of our products, we do not offer refunds on products or services.  If a product was not made correctly or arrives damaged, we will gladly and quickly fix the issue and provide you with a correct, not damaged product.
